About the ACPU
The mission of the ACPU shall be to provide a forum facilitating cooperation and the exchange of information and ideas between Clinical Pharmacology Units.
Objectives encompassed within this mission include without limitation:
- To provide the opportunity for individual disciplines involved in clinical pharmacology studies to meet and discuss issues common to their practices.
- To facilitate the formation of scientific, technical and methodological foundations for the state-of-the-art drug evaluations.
- To promote the establishment of voluntary minimum standards of practice and guidelines for clinical pharmacology units.
- To foster the continuing education of its membership through the provision of appropriate educational opportunities.
This organization is not a forum to promote individual and/or commercial interests.
